Leadership Essentials (for first-time managers)

Leadership Essentials is a toolbox course with key concepts that will give participants a deeper understanding of leadership and develop key leadership skills for building strong teams through understanding their roles, building strong interpersonal relationship with others and effectively managing key tasks to achieve organizational goals.

After attending this course, participants will be able to:

• Discover their personal leadership style
• Develop a deeper understanding of the role of leaders
• Discover the core competencies required for exemplary leadership
• Build stronger relationships in the workplace that will produce engaged, motivated and effective teams
• Develop winning teams by understanding team dynamics

This course is designed for upcoming and/or newly promoted managers and team leaders to better equip them for the leadership journey by increasing self-awareness, challenging mindsets on leadership as well as developing core leadership competencies and behaviours.
